“Time – Use it or lose it. Time, like a snowflake, disappears while we’re trying to decide what to do with it. The surest way to be late is to have plenty of time.”
– Leo Kennedy
Time, money, your mind: All of these are said to disappear if you do not use them. In the same vein, vendor funded marketing will disappear if you do not use it. And once it has gone, it has gone. There is no way to claim for all of the years for which you could have claimed. In other words, act now and realise the full potential of your business.
Available for a Limited Time Only
Vendor funded marketing funds are only available during a specific time frame. If you have a million rand available for 2017, and the vendor has informed you that it was to be used during the first half of the year, then that is the rule. And as we have said multiple times before, you have to stick to the rules or else your claim will fall through. Remember that if you don’t meet the deadline, that money has gone: It doesn’t carry over. This is one rule that we take very seriously. We help our clients to stick to the deadlines and we monitor the entire process.
It all comes back to planning. As already stated in a previous article, you will need to be meticulous in your planning. The rules are not flexible and that includes the time frame that you will need to monitor.
Do not sit there and wait for an opportunity to come a-knocking. Most opportunities do not walk all the way up your garden path to reach your front door. Look around you and realise what you can stand to gain with vendor funded marketing. Grab this opportunity with both hands and use the funds that were made available for you. Get in touch with The Marketing Hub by filling out the form on the Contact Us page if you need any help with vendor funded marketing.
