Drive Business and Your Brand with Other People’s Money

Brands are faced with the daily challenge of massively scaling their outreach in order to build personal relationships. While this may seem like a contradiction in terms, it becomes much more possible when brands shift from push to pull dynamics in their marketing.

Marketing drives your business. Marketing drives your brand. At the end of the day, marketing is the life force behind your business. And how awesome is it that you can drive your business and your brand without a cent spent from your side? Vendor funded marketing is the way to do it and I wrote an article to show you how you can use it to completely fund your marketing activities.
Let us take a brief look at how you can drive your business and brand with vendor funded marketing.

Drive Your Business and Brand

As I have already pointed out, marketing is essential to drive your business. It is a common fact: the more people are aware of your business, the more people there are who can buy from you. If you are used to a tight marketing budget and you can barely scrape through with it, for example, a R40 000 allowance with which to do your marketing, imagine how much more you can accomplish with R240 000. And best of all, the more you sell, the more vendor funded marketing money you are entitled to. But remember, as I keep saying, you need a plan and you need to understand the rules set out by each vendor. If you do not follow the rules, you will not be eligible for the funds you were banking on.

In the next few months, we will explore the various ways you can utilise the vendor funded marketing money you will receive in order to spend the money, not only wisely, but more effectively. With a clearer picture of the road you need to take, you will be able to write an effective plan to present to your vendors.
