The Funding Loop

If you work for an IT re-seller and you have never heard of Vendor Funded Marketing, then you are in luck. Because today is the day that I tell you about creating a Funding Loop using Vendor Funded Marketing. In fact, we should call it a Funding Snowball because this keeps getting bigger and bigger as you grow!

Everyone needs marketing. How else will people hear about your business? Word of mouth will only carry you to a point and there is always a chance that it will fizzle out when you really need it. You need your customers to know you are there so marketing is the most powerful tool you have to drive your revenue and increase your sales. But marketing costs money, right? Did you know that, as an IT re-seller, you might already be eligible to receive marketing funds from your vendor? You first have to prove that you use marketing funds successfully. This means that you will pay for your first marketing campaign out of your own pocket and subsequently claim the money back. But once you increase your sales due to your marketing, you will be able to apply for more vendor funded marketing and have new funds to use for your marketing campaigns.

The Funding Loop (or Snowball)

Once you increase your sales, from the marketing campaign you funded with money from your supplier, you will be eligible for more vendor funded marketing money. You read that right. The more you sell, the more marketing cash you will be entrusted with. After all, you are doing something right with your marketing and that definitely counts.
